Christmas

This year Christmas was pretty odd because of the COVID virus.  We hadn't seen our granddaughters for quite a while, but how can you skip Christmas?  We masked up and had Halley's family over to exchange presents on the 20th of December.  We pretty much had Christmas early!  We love our family so much, and can't wait until we can freely visit them again.

We had Christmas with the other part of the family, McKay, Kati on the 24th.  We had a great time.  The saran wrap ball is becoming a favorite activity!

Asher got to come on Christmas day and stay through the new year.  We love to have him with us.

Goblin Valley State Park

Goblin Valley is a gem!  I wonder what explorers of the west in the early days thought when they would happen upon a place like this.  There are so many sights like this one in Utah, where there is absolutely nothing and then something amazingly wonderful.

One thing nice about Goblin Valley State Park is that there is a sign that says you can roam freely, meaning you don't need to stay on a path and that you can climb on anything!  It isn't very often that a person is given such freedom.  It was a fun place to visit.

Arches National Park

Lincoln and I took Dad and Mom for a weekend getaway in Moab. While there we went to Arches National Park. It was my first visit to the park and I would love to go back. We got out and hiked to see some of the arches. It is an amazingly beautiful place. Actually there are no words to describe it. It was fun to see some of it blanketed in snow. I think because it was overcast and snowy the whole time our pictures were better than they would have been otherwise. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful State!
