Dead Horse Poing

We went to Moab to see Arches National Park and Goblin Valley State Park.  On our way we saw the sign to Dead Horse Point so we decided to go see it as well.  We only had a couple of hours of day light left when we made the decision.  By the time we got there the sun was going down fast and we only had an hour of sun light left!  Consequently the picture taking was kind of hard because the sun was directly in the lens of the camera in one direction.  Awe well, it was beautiful and the weather was crisp!

Sunset

We see some pretty stunning sunsets during our walks.

Thanksgiving

We had a smaller Thanksgiving this year than we've had in a long time.   Just the people in our household plus Mckay and Katie and Chancy's girlfriend and her father.   We had a fun time.   Some played chess and most decorated graham cracker houses.  Justin and Asher did their houses on another day.

Spanish Fork River Trail

Lincoln is making sure that we keep walking even though the cooler weather has settled in.   Today it was a perfect walking temperature in the evening.   We drove to Spanish Fork and walked next to the river.  So beautiful!
You can see the river behind us.

Pumpkin Patch

It is becoming a tradition that we go to a pumpkin patch in October with our immediate family.   A grandchild gives us adults a great reason to go and enjoy it also!

Weekend Away

With Covid 19 it has been tough to get away and have a break from the "new" normal.   During this virus outbreak I have enjoyed a lot of positive changes in my life.   Don't get me wrong though,  there has been a whole lot of negative,  but there also has been some silver linings. Maybe I'll post about some of those in a later post.

Even with everything that is going on,  we took a trip with a group of people made up of family and friends and got away for the weekend.   It was an interesting challenge to stay masked and social distanced.

During the weekend we played golf and went to an Abbamania concert.  Both were a blast.   By the end of our 9 holes of golfing I was actually improving and it was fun.

At dinnertime we went to a place where you cook your dinner on a stone.  A very unique thing to do!

For Abbamania, Lincoln and I decided to dress in seventies attire and it was an awesome time.   People would come up to us and ask if they could have their pictures taken with us and also would tell us that they loved our costumes.   People just don't interact that much anymore with the virus now and it was nice to have some human contact.   We even photo bombed some group pictures that were being taken and they loved having us in the picture!

Today we are going to see some old friends that now live in St. George.  I'm looking forward to catching up with them.
