Lover's Lane

Today Lincoln and I took a hike in Orem called Lover's Lane.   It is 3 miles in total.   There were inspirational signs and creative things placed along the trail, you just had to be watching for them.   These fairy gardens were fun to come across.  There were a couple signs on the fairy gardens. Think tiny thoughts and think happy thoughts!

Park City

We spent last week in Park City,  partly by ourselves,  partly with family.  Everyone but Justin and Asher got in on the fun.  Really,  with the virus there wasn't much to do and what there was to do was cut short by limitations.   It all was nice to get away but nice to come home. Isabel wanted in on the mask wearing!it's been a while since we had little feet in bed with us!

An impromptu lunch

We usually have a family dinner on Sunday with whoever is here.   We had more people today.   Love this family of ours!

Sunflowers

Yesterday Lincoln and I hiked on the mountain behind our house.   We haven't hiked for a while because it has been so hot.   The mountain has changed.   Different flowers, drier grass,  etc.  There was one area that had a bunch of sunflowers.   One spot.   I looked up and thought maybe a bird carried the seeds there.   Ate the seeds,  sat on the electric lines and planted them there via its digestive system.   Maybe.........

Shopping with Halley

Halley called me today and asked me to go
school clothes shopping with her.
She needed someone to watch the girls
and make sure that they weren't touching things
and rolling around on the floor, etc.
The COVID virus has made it so that it is dangerous to do those things.

It was such a joy to watch the girls shop.
Everything in the store was eye candy to them.
They giggled, gasped, and had complete joy shopping.

I bought each of the girls a shirt and matching dresses.
Halley texted me after they got home.
The girls had tried on their dresses.
Halley said that the youngest, Isabel
was so excited to have a dress like her sister's dresses
that she kept running around and hugging them.

Oh so fun!

Here is a picture of one of the hugs.
Note: Ariana had a biking accident and did a face plant on the ground!
Ouch!
